Hey there! Happy peak of the week! I'm pretty darn happy it's Wednesday, as Wednesday means a day closer to the weekend and a night of watching Lost with my girlfriends. Yes, I'm just now watching the Lost series for the first time and I'm completely enthralled. It's so much more fun to watch it unfold with my friends.
Anyhoo, let's talk stamping, shall we? The second volume of Stamp It! 3 Ways from Paper Crafts is out and I thought I'd share one of my projects from the issue!
Here's the cover of Stamp It! 3 Ways: Volume 2 - be sure to grab it at your local bookstore or online here. This was such a fun issue to work on because it was a team effort. 3 designers were assigned a single stamp set and we each had to divide and conquer by picking different elements of the set and showing how one set can be used to create 3 distinct designs. It was so much fun to see what the others designers on each "team" came up with and how they interpreted the sets differently. Here's how I interpreted the Bikes & Trikes set from Taylored Expressions.
I heat embossed the silhouette bicycle image (my favorite of the set) and added the sweet sentiment on patterned paper below. I think this bicycle image would be perfect for an anniversary or Valentine as well. Be sure to check out the Stamp It! 3 Ways issue to see how the two other designers played with this set!
