Hi friends! Happy happy Friday to you! This week flew by for me - time flies when you're having fun, right? :) I must say, even though I often wish I could craft 8 hours a day every day, I really do love my job. I know how difficult jobs are to come by these days and especially how difficult it is to find one you really like, so I'm grateful every day for that - even though it means giving up time for creating.
So, today I'm sharing a card I had published in the May/June 2011 issue of Paper Crafts. It was featured in "The World of the Seamstress" feature on page 79.
This was such a fun feature to create for (and the other cards in this article are over-the-top gorgeous) because I love all things sewing-related. For this card, I used an American Crafts chipboard dress form and added two kinds of lace, a Prima flower and some pearls. I then touched up a few spots (above the pearls and at the top of the lace) with glitter glue from Ranger.
If you don't have the May/June 2011 issue, definitely grab a copy at the Paper Crafts online store here. It's only $4.99 and you'll get a ton of ideas out of it. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a crafty, fun weekend! See you back in blogland on Monday.
